Trading Systems Support Analyst

The role of a Trading Systems Support Analyst is to assist in the front line support of our Our product product. It involves working closely with other Our Client is a employees and our customers to provide an effective and high quality technical support service. You will gain exposure to the following areas: UNIX, Sybase and the global financial markets.
An ideal candidate would have a strong desire to get involved in the financial trading world, with an emphasis on technology. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible, enthusiastic, and have a good aptitude for software applications. Whilst the role does not require in depth programming abilities, some experience in programming or scripting would be an advantage. Software application support experience, knowledge of UNIX or Linux would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates will need to demonstrate that they are self-motivated, possess initiative and good problem solving skills, and are able to work in a team, while also assuming responsibility for their work. The potential candidate will need to be customer focused, as well as being comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment with a high degree of individual autonomy.
