Job Description
Summary:
Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to meet the Products and US led brands strategic objectives for the Focused Business Units. This includes but is not limited to: promotional literature, specification sheets, advertising, press releases, internal communications, case studies, exhibitions and direct marketing.
What You Will Do
- Manage the Marketing department team, providing leadership, support, motivation, development opportunities, guidance, and discipline when necessary.
- Gain market insights by researching and feeding back to the business relevant market size, trends, segments, and technologies.
- As part of the CBI process, gain customer insights through establishing their needs and help create the value proposition, while at the same time assess the strength of current products value proposition.
- Develop and execute a Marcom Plan which supports for all levers.
- Develop and execute Sales Aids
- Coordinate and manage all new Product Launches
- Develop and monitor KPIs for the department and report progress back against them to the various stakeholder groups.
- Manage and co-ordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
- Support the Focused BUM and the respective teams to create a marketing budget and to deliver within the agreed budget or outlook.
- Accountable for the Focused websites (Dillion, Logistics, and Eyecon) including responsibility for online marketing and social media activities.
- Working with external contactors and all relevant stakeholders to lead on-going co-ordination of content of the Focused websites and provide updates to ensure effective search engine optimisation and google rankings as appropriate for each business and drive agreed KPIs including web led conversion to sales revenue.
- Support as required customer demonstrations, presentations, conferences, exhibitions, marketing initiatives and submissions into customer tendering/quoting processes.
- Support HR communication around recruitment and companywide events and initiatives.
- Support companywide communications both internal and external.

- Practical and multi-faceted marketing experience
- Relevant market and product experience
- Proven budgetary management experience essential
- Agency briefing and management experience that includes translations, videography, photography, print, exhibitions, advertising and PR contacts
- Exposure to developing and maintaining marketing strategies
- Strong IT skills – all MS packages, intermediate to advanced level on Powerpoint and Excel
- Travel to Fairmont facility required once a week
