Job Description
Seeking motivated and detail individual with good business acumen to support the sales process. This is an onsite role only. Sales Support Administration and Analysis, not an IT position.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Proficient knowledge of CRM and ERP systems (preferably Salesforce and SAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, form design, and financial/sales presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong collaborator and ability to coordinate cross functionally
- Ability to work within tight deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to build positive business relationships with internal and external customers
Objective:
The Sales Administrator is responsible for the coordination and validation of pre-sale order and post award process management. The position obtains and reviews documentation for accuracy and clean-order submittal and assists sales in driving efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ensures MTS’s policy and procedures and audit requirements are followed and understood to mitigate risk to MTS and that all deadlines are met to ensure accurate fiscal period order and revenue reporting. The role works closely with multiple departments including Sales, Service, Order Fulfillment, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure high customer satisfaction levels are achieved.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for coordinating pre-sale activities
- Administer supplier portals (Electronic Data Interchange /EDI submittals)
- Support preparation of required bid documents (supplier survey/bank info/quality surveys/insurance certs)
- Conducts daily search bid information via the web
- Keeps archives of sales contracts, memos and in-process correspondence
- Validates and executes completion of pre-order and post award submittal activities and supporting documentation.
- Legal and compliance reviews
- Required EAP/DOA
- Third-party due diligence
- Customer master data when order requires
- Creating English documentation when needed
- Interact directly with customers as needed.
- Complete and sign Representations and Certifications documents.
- Works closely with Order Administration team.
- Creates and publishes metrics to provide visibility into performance (Order Admin Tracking or different sequencing)
- Manages processes and drives improvement and automation
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business Administration degree preferred
- Knowledge of legal contracts, terms, and conditions. Experience with US Government contracts/processes is a plus.
- Proficiency and accuracy in relational database reporting, data analysis and sales/financial reporting
