Job Description
NSI Technical Trainers provide technical imaging support on system use, trouble shooting and basic repair of NSI's state-of-the-art industrial computed tomography and radiography systems.
What success in this Key Role Looks Like:
- Provide software support and assistance to NSI customers onsite or remotely.
- Become proficient with NSI software suite of products.
- Provide operator training on x-ray imaging systems including software. applications, general operational theory, robots, and basic maintenance.
- Provide component system installation or installation assistance.
- Provide technical assistance or support for installed base of equipment via phone, onsite and remote access.
- 80% of the position involves training the end user on our software packages.
- Train classes with classroom sizes up to 10 people who have a variety technical expertise and ability.
- Assist in completing technical manuals and writing system operation manuals or work instructions.
- Create training videos for internal or external use.
- Provide customers with timely updates as to the progress of their service and support requests.
- Assist manufacturing with system integration and factory acceptance tests.
- Work with application engineers on developing scanning techniques using proprietary imaging software for customer-specific applications.
- Work with the service coordinator on scheduling and billing
- 80% travel required during the week.
- Overtime and occasional weekend travel maybe required.
- Travel maybe domestic or international.
Qualifications
How to Have Success in this Key Role:
- Strong software and computer skills
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret complex technical information involving mechanics and electronics.
- Ability to work independently with a high sense of urgency.
- Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism
- Experience in delivering training in classroom and hand-on settings
- Experience with resolving technical issues in a highly sensitive environment
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Pass results pre-employment drug and background checks (which includes driving record).
- Provide proof that you are legally able to work in the United States.
