What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance position at IUOE 399?
To perform maintenance on commercial, industrial and residential facilities as directed by chief engineer. Building Technicians are responsible for repairing and replacing facility equipment with onsite supplied tools.
- Performs preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
- Uses and maintains hand tools associated with maintenance services.
- Must be enrolled in, or have completed, an Associates program for Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technology.
- Willingness to learn how to maintain other facility operations as instructed by the building's Chief Engineer.
