Public Job Description Intro:
INTECON is seeking a full-time Senior Administrative Assistant at Offutt Air Force Base, NE. Position is contingent on contract award.
Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) represents the capabilities which enable the President to exercise nuclear command and control authorities and the Department of Defense’s (DOD’s) nuclear forces to act upon the President’s direction. The NC3 Enterprise is critical to deterrence and credible nuclear warfighting, but it has not progressed at the pace of technological innovation. The NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) was established to address future strategic environments, monitor and assess current capabilities, define future NC3 architectures and ensure modernized NC3 capabilities align with the nuclear triad.
Assist the government in maintaining a historical file of key documents which provide guidance and direction from National Leadership, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Energy/National Nuclear Security Agency, the Joint Staff, Agencies, USSTRATCOM, other Combatant Commanders, and the Services
Provide primary support to the government for organization, execution, and documentation of user community management forums, including In Progress Reviews, working groups, O-6/Flag Officer engagements, and Combatant Commander-level reviews. Support will include all tasks necessary to maintain calendars, travel schedules, meetings, correspondence, and office management.
Support and facilitate the delivery of Government Furnished Information (GFI) to National Leadership, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Energy/National Nuclear Security Agency, the Joint Staff, Agencies, USSTRATCOM, other Combatant Commanders, and the Services as well as maintain control and accountability for classified material.
Assist the government in creating and maintaining activity-level schedules for projects, meetings, and routine business. The government will establish the level of detail required for managing each product.
Support the USSTRATCOM system progress/status reporting by, receiving, coordinating, tracking, and reviewing/analyzing issues and maintaining a user calendar.
Provide meeting agendas, minutes, and other support, as required
Support the government in creating and maintaining daily and travel schedules; setting up, coordinating, managing, and documenting meetings and conferences; and scheduling distinguished visitor visits through protocol and senior staff.
Provide support to the government for developing, drafting, writing and editing correspondence, reports, briefs, and other documents in support of a client’s requirements
A Top Secret (TS) security clearance with access eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Nuclear Command and Control - Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Special Access Required (SAR) classified material.
Must possess one of the following IAT Level II Certifications: Security CE, CCNA Security, CySA (CSA ), GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
At least 10 years of experience in the following areas:
Managing organizational support: execution, and documentation of community forums, In Progress Reviews, O- 6/Flag Officer engagements, and Combatant Commander-level reviews.
Knowledge and performance of tasks necessary to maintain daily calendars, travel schedules; setting up, coordinating, managing and documenting meetings; correspondence, and office management; scheduling distinguished visitor visits through protocol and senior staff.
Experience creating and maintaining daily activity-level schedules for projects, meetings, and routine business.
Knowledge and experience tracking system progress/status reporting by, receiving, coordinating, tracking, and reviewing/analyzing issues, maintaining a calendar, and providing agendas, minutes, and other support, as required.
Experience in maintaining historical files of key documents supporting guidance and direction from National Leadership, the Joint Staff, Agencies, Combatant Commands, and the Services.
Experience facilitating maintaining control, accountability, and delivery (to include classified material) of Government Furnished Information to National Leadership, Joint Staff, Agencies, Combatant Commanders, and the Services.
Experience and knowledge required to support the governments developing, drafting, writing and editing correspondence, reports, briefs, and other documents for National Leadership, Joint Staff, Agencies, Combatant Commanders, and the Services.
