seeking a Low Voltage Technician. The ideal candidate for this position is familiar with installing, servicing, and commissioning low voltage cabling in commercial settings. The candidate will be responsible for wiring and installing commercial security system components, low voltage devices, audio, and video components, and training customers in the use of the system. Job Responsibilities: Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks, or D-rings). Install, terminate, test, label, and document horizontal, backbone, and other cables. Dress and route cable into telecommunications closets, modular furniture, and other work areas. Build out telecommunication and equipment rooms. Test, troubleshoot, and document test results for cabling. Must have the ability to install, terminate and test low voltage cables (to include twisted pair cable, coax) Understands adheres to, and promotes the Environmental, Health & Safety policies. Perform/prepare timely field reporting of asset usage as required. Perform other duties as needs arise. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Maintain satisfactory compliance with customers. Skills: · Ability to manage miscellaneous to work orders · Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis · Ability to perform data network installation in existing infrastructure or newly constructed building · Ability to work independently. · Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications required is a plus. Requirements 3 Year of Low Voltage/ Access Control experience Reliable transportation to commute to and from work Ability to utilize Outlook and Microsoft Programs to assist with completion of various projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift

  • Greenville, SC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Low voltage: 3 years (Preferred)
