This position also performs basic accounting and financial reporting functions, such as: general ledger entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, reporting, accounts payable review and coding. Essential Job Functions
- Financial Record Keeping
- Assists in the day-to-day operations of accounting and finance in a fast-growing healthcare environment
- Maintain and update financial records and transactions using accounting software
- Record accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately
- Perform data entry for general ledger entries
- Records and monitors tracking of inventory by various locations
- Reconciliation and Auditing
- Assists in month end close and preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Review and verify accuracy of expense reports and reimbursements
- Performs periodic data analysis to report recent and historical financial performance
- Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and relevant regulations
- Maintain organized and detailed financial records and documentation for audits and reference
- Collaboration and Communication
- Assists in the planning and implementation of various business processes to improve and support business processes and activities in a high-growth environment
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters
