Ivy Tech Evansville seeks a Scholarship Coordinator to provide support services to students, focused on promoting their academic and personal success.
This role involves collaboration with various internal and external partners, management of support programs, and aiding students in navigating resources / programs offered by the college.
The coordinator will play a crucial role in promoting student success programs, managing Ivy Cares initiatives, and maintaining accurate records to support student retention.
Major Responsibilities :
Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners to develop and implement support services that promote student success.
Assist with the organization, planning, and implementation of mentorship programming.
Create mentorship programing / events that aligns with project curriculum.
Conduct outreach to targeted marginalized groups.
Identify internal and external resources to mitigate barriers for students.
Aid students in accessing institutional programs and services.
Define and describe the procedures for obtaining services through the Lamkin Center assist students in completing this process.
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of students’ requesting services.
Make recommendations to improve or create programs offered by Lamkin Center.
Utilize the Ivy Advising and Ivy Connect system to track and monitor student progress, ensuring that all support services are effectively coordinated.
Provide targeted support to students based on their individual needs, using data from the IvyCares, Ivy Achieves, and other mentorship programs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Participate in statewide Disability Support Services (DSS) meetings and training sessions; implement updated practices and procedures from these meetings.
Hiring Range :
$35,000-45,000 per year based on experience.
Work Hours :
Typical business work hours, may be adjusted to meet course scheduling requirements or during peak times.

Qualifications :
Must be available to work in person on the Evansville, IN campus.
Bachelors Degree : psychology, social work, or a related field.
Experience in student support services, disability services, or a related area preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Knowledge of FERPA
