What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Picker/Forklift position at Iwebgrocer?
Iwebgrocer has been in business for 33 years as a premier exporter of food and grocery in 96 countries. As we continue to come out of the pandemic, our business has seen an increase in orders and inquiries from around the world. This continued interest in our products has given us the opportunity to expand the Warehouse Team. We work a great schedule: M-F 7:30 AM to 4 PM and work with a great team.
We are looking for a Warehouse order selector that has recent experience working in a fast-paced environment. This person needs to be able to take feedback well and be able to work as part of team.
Their duties will include the following:
· Receive incoming orders documenting total count, shelf life, lot code and recording damages.
· Split incoming orders which may contain multiple customers and / or the same item(s). Once complete verify counts for accuracy.
· Organize and palletize orders into bins to be stored until order is complete for shipment.
· Prepare orders for shipment from picking sheets
· Pull items from inventory based on system allocation
· Using barcode guns for receiving, product movement, and outgoing orders.
· Must be able to drive an electric stand up forklift.
Qualifications:
· Must have good math skills and be a pro at counting. Count and calculate quantities of product to verify accuracy.
· Organizational skills with paperwork and movement of product
· Able to meet safety and accuracy standards.
· This is a physically demanding position, must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day in a hot environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
