Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on pay recommendations and job evaluations while maintaining employee equity and market competitiveness.
- Complete annual pay surveys, conduct benchmarking and market pricing analysis, and explain cost and impact analysis for business leaders.
- Provide consultations to business leaders on pay practices.
- Audit compensation records and ensure accuracy of data within J.B. Hunt selected systems.
- Provide oversight and guidance for updates regarding federal or local wage and hour laws.
- Assist with annual bonus and incentive calculations.
- Lead and/or participate in compensation projects, including, but not limited to, annual merit review, pay equity analysis, and/or service delivery related projects.
- Support the annual compensation planning process by providing pay range movement recommendations and guidance during the annual merit process.
- Support the development of programs to partner with and educate Talent Acquisition, Business Partners, and business leaders on compensation programs and policies.
- Provide administrative and analytical support to compensation leaders
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 1 years of relevant work experience OR 2 years of combined relevant experience, education, or training, and/or military equivalent AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences
- Ability to be both flexible and adaptable
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced skills in mathematics and statistics
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of approaches and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving operations or process problems
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 2 years of relevant work experience
