Service Technician
J & L Motorsports is a growing powersports business in need of skilled technicians to provide skilled repair and diagnosis of powersports, and lawn and garden equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems ( headlights, taillights, lights, motors, actuators, etc.)
- Repair vehicle mechanical systems ( brakes, wheels, tires, etc.)
- Make sure that all repairs are performed in accordance with the technical specifications of the vehicle make and model.
- Provide estimates for additional work needed and/or added cost.
- Keep records of all repair work performed and submit all necessary paperwork.
- Keep accurate inventory of all tools and parts used in the shop.
- Follow proper vehicle safety rules and follow company safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times.
Experience:
- Basic hand tools required
- Experience working with diesel engines a plus but not required.
- Experience working with atv, utv, snowmobile a plus but not required.
- Experience working with lawn and garden a plus but not required.
- Strong customer service skills a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
