Responsibilities

  • Generate sales, take-offs, and labor/material estimates for Electrical projects.
  • Manage the design, layout, and overall project execution, collaborating with customers for ongoing quote and modification needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Utilize proficiency in blueprint reading, sizing, and design to map out Electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings.
  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the chosen trade, coupled with excellent communication skills, to effectively address and meet customer needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, materials costs, and market conditions to provide up-to-date and relevant cost estimates.
  • Maintain accurate records of project estimates, bid documents, and related correspondence.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours (Monday through Friday) and adaptability in both schedule and work location.

Job requirements

  • A Journeyman Level License in Trade is preferred
  • 3 years of experience in Electrical Field
  • Proficient in construction estimating software, strong mathematical and analytical skills, and a solid understanding of construction processes and materials
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in estimating and bid preparation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of projects
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
