What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Worker/Forklift Operator position at J.P. Express Service, Inc?
We have immediate openings at JP for Full Time Night Dockworkers. Starting time is 1:00 am.
Responsibilities:
· Loading/unloading commercial trailers of all sizes and straight trucks.
· Safely loading and unloading trucks & trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks & forklifts
· Ability to obtain certification and safely operate forklift and other equipment as needed (All necessary training will be provided)
· Verify documentation and condition of freight to assure quality standards are achieved
· Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· · Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Responsibilities:
· Electric Jack is required
· Dock Handling Equipment is required
· Forklift Experience is necessary
