Job Description:

In this role you will serve as the Strategic Marketing Partner to J.S. Held’s Technical Services Division. The Strategic Marketing Partner will operate as a field marketing manager to support the division by managing all elements of the marketing mix, including but not limited to: onboarding, events, marketing/sales collateral, sales enablement support, prospect targeting, campaigns, and more. This individual should have a successful track record of fostering valuable partnerships with subject matters experts and assisting them with marketing support that aligns with organizational goals and global brand strategy.

Position and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with division leads and practice line leads, as well as business development and corporate marketing team members, to develop, support, and deliver an integrated marketing plan for the division including email marketing, direct mail, social media, events, thought leadership, advertising, and other channels
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends and opportunities, proper tone and voice for specific client types, and audience targeting/segmentation parameters to support campaign creations, and other marketing-related developments for the division
  • Manage the flow of all inbound marketing requests from your respective division and coordinate execution and implementation of the request with the proper marketing resource
  • Develop value-based messaging, assets, collateral, and tools (including job aids) to support consultants’ localized marketing efforts throughout the world
  • Track and measure marketing outcomes including marketing activities, response, leads, and ROI
  • Support the management and tracking of memberships and advertising engagements that apply to the division
  • Onboarding and continual training for subject matter experts within the division to provide them with marketing support for their personalized client development efforts
  • Plan and execute efforts to increase divisional brand awareness, generation of marketing qualified leads, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Coordinate with branding and design team to develop/update division-specific marketing collateral for consultants and business development team members
  • Ensure brand alignment to increase overall brand awareness and equity

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in marketing or related discipline
  • 5 years of experience in field marketing, channel marketing, or related role
  • Proven experience planning, prioritizing, and implementing field marketing efforts
  • Understands digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing, branding, and PR
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and ability to communicate ROI on marketing efforts
  • Ability to plan and lead initiatives both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to interact with various functional areas at management levels
  • Experience partnering with an enterprise business development team
  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skills, including the talent to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing messages
  • You are entrepreneurial and work well in a rapidly changing environment
  • You are creative, innovative, and think outside the box
  • Confident with a dynamic personality

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B or professional services experience
  • Working knowledge of marketing systems, including but not limited to, CRM, email marketing platforms, social media platforms, and web content management systems
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite
  • M&A integration experience
