POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supervising all aspects of field operations within the assigned area, including safety and regulatory compliance, staffing, employee development, operating expenses and budgets, while ensuring that all revenue service, gross margin goals are achieved or exceeded for the assigned area. Other duties include enforcing Company standards and procedures, ensuring overall operational efficiencies, customer service, oversight of the quality of service provided, and capacity planning. Serve as the area representative between other departments/locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: may include any or all of the following.
- Work directly with the Field Foremen in coordinating the activities of all Technicians assigned to the area, including supervising and monitoring their work and job assignments.
- Ensure technician assignments are efficiently organized in order to minimize driving and response time.
- Assist with training technicians in technical and service competencies as well as the processing of all required documentation and oversee major repair decisions.
- Monitor unplanned service call frequency, rental fleet/vehicle maintenance expenses, and review all field service reports.
- Review and approve local purchases, assist with monitoring warehouse and service vehicle inventories including investigating, documenting and resolving misapplications of equipment.
- Supervise start-ups and monitor requirements for actual vs. quoted conditions, unit placement, and the use of proper suction, discharge and vent lines.
- Ensure that the appropriate environmental and safety accommodations and precautions are implemented and followed in start-ups.
- Communicate regularly with District management on the status of area personnel, staffing levels, productivity, revenue/margins and any developments regarding service issues or customer concerns.
- Be proactive in responding and addressing customer requests and needs while representing the Company in a professional manner at all times; develop and maintain internal as well as external customer relationships.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s Degree or extensive vocational training and 10 years of industry related experience with five or more years in a Lead/Supervisory role; or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Computer skills:
- Adequate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
