Public Relations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to increase brand awareness and drive patient acquisition
• Act as the main point of contact for media inquiries and ensure timely and accurate responses
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with local media outlets, journalists, and influencers to generate positive media coverage
• Identify and engage in new programs and community events that align with our vision and target audience
• Write and edit press releases, articles, blog posts, social media content, and other communication materials that effectively convey our key messages and enhance our brand
• Oversee event schedules and represent our dental office as the primary attendee at local events/programs
• Collaborate with the Brand Manager to develop effective marketing campaign strategies and initiatives
• Manage and monitor online presence with social media engagement, responding to Google reviews, and addressing patient feedback or inquiries
• Handle crisis communications effectively, including developing crisis communication plans and coordinating responses.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that may impact the dental field
• Create and manage engaging email campaigns to nurture patient relationships and promote our services
• Take the lead in developing new initiatives to enhance and strengthen our company culture, ie team builders and celebrations
• Plan and organize community outreach programs, team building events, holiday parties, and BBQs to foster a supportive and engaging work environment
• Collaborate with internal teams, including dentists, staff, and marketing, to align PR initiatives with overall business goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience working in public relations, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various channels and audiences
• Demonstrated experience in media relations, including successful placements and relationships with local media outlets
• Proficiency in social media management
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Crisis management skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, community leaders, and patients
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative PR strategies
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
