Description
CVO Licensing Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, setting goals, objectives and obtaining initial state medical license, CSR or renewals for providers as requested.
Duties to include: • The partial completion of state licensing applications to be sent to Providers for completion before being sent to the State Boards. • Types and assembles letters, memos, and reports. • Answers questions and directs telephone calls and visitors. • Assumes responsibility for preparing and maintaining assigned records and reports. • Prepares documents as needed. Assembles and maintains statistical data. • Performs and oversees specific projects and programs as assigned. • Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of assigned licensing functions. • Requesting license applications as required and pre-populates prior to sending applications to provider for completion. • Preparing and transmitting all required documents for delivery and tracking using Fed Ex or Express Mail.• Requesting checks as necessary for verifications and fees associated with licensing file. • Following up with tracking, verification contacts, Provider, and state boards during the process. • Attending weekly team meetings as required and updating team on assigned bookings. • Notifying appropriate clients, and/or associates during the licensing process and when license are granted. • Updating database and scanning documents into the document management system as necessary to maintain current information. • Serving as a liaison between provider and medical board forging a relationship that expedites provider's medical license.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent. Some college preferred. The selected candidate will be: • Extremely proficient with the Internet, Email as well as Microsoft Word and Excel. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills and experience. • Have 1 year experience in assisting healthcare professionals with obtaining and maintaining proper professional licensure. • Proficient typing skills. Excellent written and communication skills • Good interpersonal and public relations skills. Solid analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities. Project management skills and well organized. Able to work well independently. • Able to assist, direct, and coordinate others.
