Job Summary
We are Jackson Hewitt, Working Hard for the Hardest Working. We are looking for a small number tax preparers in Sterling Dixon area. People with some experience are preferred but not required. We will train and educate.
Many people find this job to be very interesting seasonal work with potential to qualify for unemployment insurance benefits, after the tax season is over.
Responsibilities and Duties
Completes tax forms in accordance with policies, and in compliance with legislation and regulations.
Learn how to answers questions and provide future tax planning to clients.
Use our proprietarily easy to use Tax Software to prepare simple personal tax returns
Resolves client complaints, or refers situations to supervisor (as appropriate) for resolution.
Use empathy and communication skills to help the everyday taxpayers
Must have basic level keyboarding skills and 10 key skills (numeric pad)
Qualifications and Skills
Experience is preferred but not required. We will train and educate.
PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) required can be obtained on IRS website
Benefits
Pay $12.50 to $15.00 per hour
