This position is located at our headquarters in West Harrison, NY.
Jackson Lewis P.C. has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our Finance team. With limited supervision, the Accountant is responsible for preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns.
Essential Functions
- General ledger input - journal entries.
- Bank reconciliations and resolving related discrepancies.
- Accounts payable tasks (vendor and invoice input).
- Maintain and reconcile equipment lease schedules.
- Internal auditing of attorney expense reports.
- Sales & Use Tax returns.
- Balance sheet and P&L variance analysis.
- Complete special projects as advised by management.
- Assist with the annual review.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- 0 – 2 years of related work experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Advanced critical thinking skills.
