Jackson Speech & Language Services is seeking a full-time (30 hours) pediatric speech-language pathologist to join our growing team! This position will begin April/May 2023.
JSLS has been providing speech and language therapy to children ages birth-18 years since 2008. Treatment is currently being conducted in-person at our clinic.
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply! Supervision will be provided by our experienced speech-language pathologists.
Our speech-language pathologists evaluate and treat children with a wide variety of communication disorders and diagnoses, included but not limited to: articulation/phonological disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, early intervention, childhood apraxia of speech, pragmatics/social skills, auditory processing disorders, fluency disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for all clinical duties including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with communication disorders.
- Assessment and diagnosis of speech and language disorders using standardized methods, informal observation, parent interviews, and clinical judgment.
- Treatment of a variety of speech and language disorders and diagnoses
- Documentation including daily treatment notes, progress notes, and evaluations
- Educate patient and family to promote generalization of skills beyond the therapeutic setting
- Professional communication with parents, teachers, and all other professionals with relevance to the patient.
