What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Specialist position at Jackson Street Wine Warehouse?
We are looking for a Inventory Control Specialist (ICS) with wine knowledge or experience to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Inventory control personnel responsibilities include but are not limited to: completing yearly documented inventory, unloading trucks/trailers, using Microsoft Office products, cycle counts, putting orders into NetSuite, correcting inventory issues, tracking inventory, inventory personal wine collections, emailing, returning phone calls, making copies, customer service, scanning, and much more. This position includes a lot of hours on your feet and in a temperature controlled warehouse (55 degrees).
Responsibilities
- Cycle counts
- Load and Unload Items
- Monitor Inventory Levels
- Adjust wine discrepancies
- Perform yearly documented inventory
- Inventory Private Collector pallets
- Inventory and track dry-good pallets
- Creating Bill of Ladings and supporting documents for any outgoing wines and product.
- Receive and process all incoming paperwork for wines and product
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.

- Scheduled and random audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies and fix if applicable.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment

Skills
- Proven working experience as a inventory control associate
- Microsoft office products
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Familiar with wine shipping, storage, or knowledge.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to stand, stoop, sit, bend, kneel
- High school diploma/degree

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.50 per hour
