What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian (Seasonal) position at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Inc.?
Jacob’s Pillow Dance in Becket, MA seeks a Seasonal Part Time Custodian. The Custodian is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of the Pillow campus. The Custodian reports to the Producing Director, working with the Housekeeper and Hospitality Coordinator as well as external cleaning vendors. A detailed cleaning schedule will be provided. Attention to detail, punctuality, discretion, and friendly hospitality are the most sought after qualities in a candidate.
STATUS: Part-Time Seasonal (June 6- September 2)
COMPENSTATION: $15/hourly

Weekly Schedule:
Wednesday-Friday, 5pm-11pm
Saturday, 4-11pm
Sunday, 12-5pm
30 hours a week total
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning public restrooms
- Pickup up all the campus trash
- Restocking paper goods and supplies
- Continuous spot cleaning of public areas while guests are around includes picking up trash, putting chairs back, folding umbrellas, etc.
- Nightly cleaning of offices
- Nightly clean-up of theatre house, trash pickup, spot cleaning the seats, cleaning the floors, etc.
- Trash pick-up in dressing rooms, cleaning dressing rooms post-show
- Assist Housekeeper with maintaining inventory of supplies and ensuring stock doesn’t run low.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Punctuality, discretion, friendly, and detail-oriented
- Clear Background Screening
- Valid Driver’s license
- Covid-19 Full Vaccination with additional booster
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 is more than 2 weeks after having received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or more than 2 weeks after having received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson [J&J]/Janssen ).
