Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Hotel Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor—Part Time—Graveyard Shift” for Gold Dust West Carson City. This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book the ever-popular Grille Restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Making reservations by phone and/or in person
- Taking payment for services rendered and applying to correct Guest folios
- Verifying I.D. and credit card information
- Following departmental cash handling and bank procedures
- Checking Guests in and/or checking Guests out for Hotel and RV Park
- Issuing Player club cards to Hotel Guest and/or RV Park Guests at check in
- Printing Down Time and Vacant report for each shift
- Check credit variances. Increase line of credit where applicable
- Complete buck and rate check
- All Night Audit procedures for Accounting
- All Opera Procedures for Date Roll
- Attaching Player card Numbers to reservations
- Completion of Hotel call around
- Proper routing for Expedia and all other direct bill accounts
- Answer all inquiries from site staff accordingly
- Checking and responding to reservations computer e-mails
- Completing work orders as needed for repairs as they are reported to them
- Logging pest control issues as needed
- Resolving Guest issues and/or complaints
- Answering phones and directing calls as needed
- Repot any issues to Supervisor or Manager as needed
- Complete daily shift log
Skills, Education and Other Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in the Hotel/Hospitality Industry preferred
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
- Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
