We are seeking an engaging, customer centric, solution focused subject matter expert with hands on, practical Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Information Management experience to lead the digital delivery of Transportation Market projects.
**Accountabilities of the Role**
**Leadership:** As a **Digital Delivery Transportation Market Lead for the Americas** , you will undertake a key role in helping our project teams and clients achieve their outcomes.
You will be responsible for stewarding Information Modeling and Management for one or more of our portfolios within our Transportation business. This will include leading a team and resources appropriately to ensure that the team has awareness of work and their priorities. You will work closely with Digital Delivery project lead(s) to support existing and new projects and pursuits. You will create a common understanding of the requirements, working towards the bigger picture and communicating this effectively to the Digital Delivery leads within the various Transportation related submarkets/portfolios (Aviation, Highways, Bridges, Ports and maritime, Rail and transit, tunnel and ground engineering, and transport planning). You will also be asked to foster an inclusive environment and collaborative community, celebrating success of individuals through our HR processes.
**Transformation:** You will seek to implement innovative methods of delivery processes including automation and standardization whilst working with your team to actively raise the standard of Digital Delivery across our projects in your portfolio(s), with an ability to coach within and outside of your team. ?You will also work with the Jacobs internal Technical Excellence Team on strategy and educational content related to Digital Delivery Advancement across our business.
**Delivery Excellence:** You will be responsible for the delivery excellence of your portfolio(s) with joint accountability alongside Project Managers and Technical Leads in accordance with Transportation standards, industry best practices, and client requirements. Working closely with our Digital Delivery Global Technology Lead and IT , you will help us drive the development and adoption of production standards and content, as well as steward a standardized use of software and consistency across the Transportation market.

Typical salary range for this position is $125,000 to $195,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For remote positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.

**Heres What Youll Need:**
You will have proven experience in a technical and/or engineering space with a sound understanding of project information management principles and application, you will have:
Experience working in the Transportation Market and leading teams of designers, engineers, and BIM professionals
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Experience in implementing various interconnected Electronic Data Management Systems (EDMS/DMS)
Hands on knowledge of:
Bentley MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, iModel/iTwin, Synchro, and ProjectWise (including managed workspaces)
Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Infraworks, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360/ ACC
General knowledge of:
API's and Design, Analysis, and visual programming tools like Dynamo, Grasshopper, VBA, Python, iModel/iTwin.js etc. preferred
Reality Capture Workflows and project applications: Photogrammetry, LiDAR, UAS, 360 capture, Reality mesh/model
Transoft AutoTURN, GuideSIGN and other specialty design tools
Understands project workflows from design, estimation, fabrication, construction documentation, administration, and coordination
Understanding of general office software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) and visualization software
Understanding of Advanced Visualization workflows: Virtual and Augmented Reality, Animations, Virtual Tours, Digital Twins
Effective leader: articulate, diplomatic, ethical, collaborative, and dedicated, with ability to motivate established professionals, external partners, and direct reports.
Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple tasks and projects under constant deadlines, as well as anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner
Associates or Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience, preferred
