Your Impact:
When it comes to environmental consulting, we're focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. We're looking for a geologist/hydrogeologist to work on site characterization and remediation projects for government and private-sector clients.
Based anywhere in the US but preferably in the west, you'll work with other scientists, engineers, and project managers on exciting projects in which you will learn from others and pass along your knowledge. Responsibilities will include technical report writing, data analysis, management of large datasets, and intermediate to advanced ArcGIS and Excel software experience. This is primarily a hybrid office based role at least 75% of the time. Position may also include performing or overseeing soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water sampling, procurement of subcontractors, coordinating logistics for field activities, and participating in meetings with clients and regulators. Safety will be your priority, as you contribute to "incident free" operations and maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety in everything you do.

Here's What You'll Need:
- B.S. in Hydrogeology or Geology with coursework in hydrogeology
- Ability/desire to obtain CA P.G. when eligible
- 2-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry
- Demonstrated technical writing proficiency
- Software skills: ArcGIS, Excel (intermediate/advanced preferred for both)
- Detail-oriented and quality-oriented
- Experience and/or ability to manage large datasets
- Ready to transition into a primarily office role (at least 75% of time)
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
- M.S. in Hydrogeology or Geology with coursework in hydrogeology
- Licensed CA P.G. (preferred) or G.I.T.
- Software skills: M.S. Access, Surfer, Programming (e.g. Python, R), gINT, Adobe Creative Suite, groundwater modeling experience
- Experience with fractured bedrock environments and associated complexities
- Has a variety of field experience (drilling with different methods, sampling various environmental media, well construction, etc.)
