As an Industrial Tech, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services - uninterrupted. Based in Ontario, CA, you’ll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation, maintenance, calibration, diagnosis, inspection, and repair of the equipment, instruments, processes and support systems of an industrial water and/or wastewater treatment facility; and provide guidance and direction to plant operators, mechanics and industrial technicians. You’ll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in the facilities. You’ll operate, monitor and calibrate motors, generators, gauges, valves and gates to regulate processes; determine and set flow rates, pressure, distribution and chemical dosage; maintain a log of operations and process adjustments as necessary; observe variances, and interpret meter/gauge readings; collect samples and perform laboratory tests; process, haul and apply residuals in accordance with regulations; utilize data management tools, and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.
* Advanced experience with industrial production techniques and industrial equipment
* Advanced understanding of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data management software
* Certification at a level required by the State in which the project is located
* A valid driver’s license with no major infractions
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
* A current, or working towards obtaining an intermediate/advanced level water/wastewater treatment certification
* Some post high school education related to industrial water/wastewater utility operations and maintenance
* Familiarity of the principles and practices of industrial water/wastewater treatment plant operations, valves, pumps, motors, and sample testing.

The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
