Your Impact:
Jacobs seeks a Network Administrator to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. In support of the government customer and reporting to the Incremental Sustainment Services (ISS) Director, the Network Administrator is responsible for coherent planning, development and delivery of PARCS and UEWR radar network maintenance and modifications and support of the SW&SS Cloud environment.

Typical salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the daily operations, assisting with the triaging of all network-related issues including, but not limited to the SW&SS Cloud.
· Analyzes customer requirements and solves unusually complex problems with highly innovative solutions.
· Provides expert knowledge for maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and telecom equipment.
· Provides expert knowledge for maintaining network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability.
· Analyzes, evaluates, and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve solutions to complex technical problems.
· Develops advanced solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems.
· Performs highly advanced network/systems design, development, and integration from the start of a project life cycle to the end.
· Provides and applies advanced engineering to highly complex infrastructures including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining network devices, telecom equipment, operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
· Contributes to, participates in, and supports planning in customer surge support efforts.
· Administers the operation of LAN/WAN-related network services according to Government policies and procedures.
· Troubleshoots and resolves LAN/WAN performance, connectivity and related network problems and encryption devices.
· Administers LAN/WAN security and malware control measures
Here’s What You’ll Need:Basic Qualifications:
· Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 6 years of general experience; Associate degree and 4 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 0 years of general experience.
· Expert knowledge for maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and telecom equipment.
· Active DoD Secret clearance required
Preferred Experience:
· Previous USSF, Space Systems Command/SMORS program experience.
· UEWR/PARCS Radar experience.
· Knowledge of the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment mission and associated enterprise.
· Networking or Security or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification or higher.
· CCNA.
· Familiarity with Microsoft or AWS Cloud infrastructure and administration
