Description of Duties:

The Program Management & Integration Deputy Director supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

 

The PM&I Department is responsible for integration of the program and provides the governance and standards over program-level functions and disciplines to include systems engineering, configuration management, project controls, mission & quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

 

The candidate will provide support for, and direction of, the following:

 

·         Leadership and management: serves as a key advisor to the PM&I Director on operations associated with the fields of Program Integration, Contract Performance Management, Project Controls, Process Engineering & Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Enterprise Systems Engineering. Directs and manages internal/external communications and functional program activities to meet cost, schedule and performance objectives of the organization and task order; provides products and services which includes the correct people, processes, and tools to meet mission requirements; tactically allocates and strategically forecasts resources to ensure the sustainment, renewal, and growth of the technical expertise within the department; develop and manage coordination, collaboration, communication, integration activities and processes among IRES senior managers and government leaders to support and ensure accomplishment of objectives; coordinate, integrate and deliver innovations to the task order mission areas, and IRES as a whole, to optimize efficiencies and mission effectiveness.

·         Business Operations: ensure overall operations of the department meet IRES objectives; drive Sustained Superior Performance, with a focus on continuous improvement; develop opportunities for growth, both in revenue and profitability; and ensure task orders deliver on financial commitments.

·         Contract Performance: successfully integrate and coordinate all activities needed to execute the requirements of the department and task order; support innovative solutions to drive technical excellence for the customer; provide technical/administrative leadership; and ensure resources are effectively staffed, allocated, and managed.

·         Customer Relations: deliver on a strategy for customer relations across MDA that establishes transparent, trusting and strategic relations.

The successful candidate will:

This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

 

This position is expected to pay $181,000 - $206,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Basic Requirements\:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience\: Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 12 years of general experience.

 

·         Must have 10 years of directly related experience.

·         Must have, at a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

·         Must have an active DoD Secret, or higher, Security Clearance.

 

Desired Requirements\:

 

·         Have experience in Program Management, including direct experience in\: project planning & management, risk management, strategic planning & execution, and contract performance management/assessments.

·         Have working knowledge and experience in missile defense or other complex weapon systems.

·         Have experience in supporting mission assurance/protection for critical military infrastructure or managing.
