Our Buildings & Infrastructure Group in Ohio is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project managers overseeing construction and design projects throughout Ohio. The ideal candidate will be based in our Columbus, OH office and who can provide the following support;
- Support our people leaders in developing resource loaded design and construction schedules for both water and transportation market projects.
- Host meetings with project managers, design managers, other leadership and team members to develop the content and manage updates to schedules
- Identify resourcing conflicts throughout development and delivery and work with the project leadership and people managers to identify resolutions
- Develop potential construction schedules loaded with resources and costs for our design projects.
- Scrub third party Contractor schedules as received for updates and actuals throughout construction.
- Support people leaders with monthly performance reports as well as labor forecasting.
- Support the development and pricing of proposals.
- Support the development of risk assessment tools for each project, including working with Project Managers in maintaining and updating project risk profiles throughout the duration of each project.
- Support monthly financial project reviews which consist of monthly statusing of project progress, as well as tracking budget expenditures, and report the results to the project managers.
- Support development of monthly status reports and invoice packages for clients.
- Support subcontract process by developing the internal documentation and facilitate obtaining the appropriate internal approvals and communication with subcontractors until each subcontract is complete.
- Services During Construction (SDC) Support, including project document control such as logging project correspondence, submittals, RFIs, proposed change orders, contract changes, etc. and routing documents to project team members and stakeholders, and support closeout documentation.
- Records management including copying, scanning, and e-filing project documents and archiving closed project documents.
- Provide assistance on administrative tasks as designated by Project Managers.
- Support business development needs, including responses to RFPs, proposals, and related work.
- Support sales activities with client account plan updates and additional items as needed.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in one or more of the following areas is required: project administrative support, inside sales support, oversight and reporting on progress against project budgets, construction administration, or subcontracts/procurement development.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for resource loaded schedule development and delivery with the ability to apply those skills to Jacobs proprietary resource scheduling software
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Individual should be a leader, organized, and dependable.
- Individual should be self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
