Our Northwest Planning team helps our communities meet their goals using innovative, data-driven methods and tools. We are a multidiscipline, highly skilled, and engaging team of planners and engineers supporting public and private clients throughout the Pacific Northwest (Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon and Alaska). Given our mix of skillsets, we work with teams across the country and across disciplines.
Some typical projects include long range transportation plans, transit development plans, feasibility studies, master plans, environmental impact studies, corridor transportation plans, transit facility plans, and grant writing. You will be responsible for leading project tasks and teams, documenting results, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver outreach plans, developing complex transportation models using state-of-the-art software and datasets, presenting results to stakeholders and clients, and working closely with people from different disciplines and backgrounds.
In this position you will build relationships to support business development, develop Jacobs’ worldwide transportation planning and analysis practice, and support colleagues through mentorship and skill sharing opportunities.

The base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $142,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
· Undergraduate degree in engineering, planning or related field
· 5-10 years’ experience as a planner and/or project manager
· Demonstrated experience working on transportation projects such as multimodal corridor planning for transit, active transportation, roadway, and/or land use
· Experience with one or more transportation modeling software packages (e.g., Vissum, Vissim, HCS, TransCAD, Synchro, and/or other similar) and programming languages (e.g. Python, R, and/or similar) and the interest and ability to develop additional modelling and programming language proficiency.
