WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Americas Presales team is part of Global Presales Consulting, the team is organized in regional areas. The team identity and philosophy are based on the 3T concept :
- Technology: Consolidate JAGGAER ONE knowledge across the entire Presales team and work to position the right product package based on the Product strategy and market trends/needs
- Team: Move the team under a unique umbrella to share, communicate and collaborate as a unique team (i.e. best practice sharing, monthly meetings, team building)
- Trust: Communicate the JAGGAER company and product Value with the same messages across the globe to focus on customer success
The Director of Presales Consulting Americas represents an important pillar of the PreSales team, the professional will be part of the Global Presales Consulting steering committee team as well.
He/she will report directly to the Global Vice President of PreSales Consulting and he/she will collaborate with the Head of Presales Consulting Europe & APAC in addition to collaborating with the other department’s leaders/managers of the company.

Principal Responsibilities
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage the Americas PreSales department at both skills and technology levels to ensure growth and profitability targets are achieved.
- Lead presales function for the region in accordance with the Global Presales Consulting team guidelines defined to guarantee harmonization and consistency during the proposal.
- Connect and align HQ and regional initiatives.
- Cascade strategy and business plans to regional teams
- Introduce innovation and new practices to provide the best possible value to customers.
- Enable regional presales teams with the market knowledge and good practices.
- Collaboratively engage and drive internal stakeholders to support complex sales cycles including bid management, professional services, partners, legal, finance, and other functions.
- Ensure knowledge sharing and proactivity of the team to lead the Presales cycle and related activities.
- Support regional team leaders in talent attraction and talent management.
- Guarantee the correct usage of tools and processes available for the PreSales team to support the work of regional teams and governance of the entire cycle.
- Perform weekly alignment with each of the regional teams to guarantee governance of the activities performed on each deal.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry, local market, and competitive issues and trends.
- Conduct a periodical (quarterly alignment) with all the team members to guarantee the right team mood and cohesion.
- Drive networking activities to promote JAGGAER in public forums, by possessing an established, credible, and expanding network through industry events in conjunction with marketing activities i.e. conferences, user groups, webinars, and other focused events.
- Create and own established and credible relationships with relevant accounts, by understanding their business needs, challenges, and expectations at an organizational and individual level.
- Frequent travels predominantly throughout Americas (USA, Canada, and LATAM countries)
Position Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Well-established (likely 8 years) and proven PreSales professional experience within a complex software application/ SaaS/ Cloud solution environment/company. It will be considered a plus an experience inside the Procurement and Supply Chain space.
- Well-established and proven experience in team management.
- Deep experience in the portfolio of the JAGGAER ONE platform
- Existing understanding of the entire technology ecosystem on the market (i.e., ERP/ Finance/ Supply Chain) and Procurement software markets preferred with enthusiasm for the detail.
- Interest in the technology overcoming the own comfort zone.
- Stress management and capabilities to define priorities avoiding constant escalation and team troubles, encouraging teams to solve issues and trust themselves.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and presentation capability of the entire JAGGAER value proposition and competitive differentiators through various channels including solution presentations, demonstrations, webinars, proposals, negotiation sessions, and thought leadership pieces.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the evolution of the procurement/ spend-management/ Accounts-Payable function, including typical organization structures, business issues, and value drivers.
- Team building attitude and team protection.
- Credibility, humility, and proactivity as main pillars in the management approach worked as a team.
- Credible, and trusted relationship builder at all levels with the other JAGGAER department and within client organizations also at C-levels.
- Highly professional with polished written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Degree educated and/ or equivalent relevant qualifications.
- Fluent business level is written and verbal English.
