About the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on September 3, 1995 in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles. Summary
The People Operations Senior Coordinator will work with the People Development team to provide internal support for all processes that are part of creating an engaging, inclusive and productive workplace. This role will heavily focus on the Jaguars and Bold Events talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding processes, in addition to initiatives related to culture and the development of our staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Acquisition and Onboarding: Assist with the full employee lifecycle - from posting job positions, recruiting, filtering through applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, scheduling travel, processing onboarding paperwork, generating offer letters, processing terminations, etc.
o Manage the proper flow of, and maintenance of, team member databases, forms and processes, especially as it relates to TeamWork Online, Spark Hire, Dayforce, the organization chart, drug screenings, background screenings and other various systems new hires must be added to
o Accurately keep up with and run our staff tracking system
o Routinely run reports to check for missing or erroneous employee data
o Train new employees and managers on Dayforce, where applicable
o Update and keep job descriptions current
o Circulate communications for internal promotions and job changes; process subsequent steps as necessary
o Conducts new hire orientation presentations and tours, assembles and distributes welcome gifts, forms and certificates
o Attends various recruiting events around the state as well as travels for League events
o Accurately keep up with and run our staff tracking system
o Routinely run reports to check for missing or erroneous employee data
o Train new employees and managers on Dayforce, where applicable
o Update and keep job descriptions current
o Circulate communications for internal promotions and job changes; process subsequent steps as necessary
o Conducts new hire orientation presentations and tours, assembles and distributes welcome gifts, forms and certificates
o Attends various recruiting events around the state as well as travels for League events
Development: Help ensure new hires and promotions are set-up for success
o Process/track 90 Day Reviews for new hires
o Track and implement NFL and Club regulatory trainings and compliance
o Implement and run training/onboarding program for seasonal hires
- Respond to routine employee and previous employee needs, i.e.: assistance with tasks related to Dayforce, official employee verifications and employment letters.
- Help with various company communications, inclusive of the calendar on JagsCentral and the initial drafting of JagsCentral Weekly and/or Wellness Wednesday
- Assist with other People Development needs and projects, such as: filing, scanning, etc.
- Assists with childcare services including communication, registration and check in/out procedures, equipment set-up and breakdown, surveys, works with childcare vendor and internal staff to ensure the safety and security of participants.
Job Requirements
Required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to take initiative, problem solve and be a quick learner
- Must act with integrity and handle sensitive situations and data with utmost confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and ability to easily learn other software systems
- Positive team player with ability to be flexible and open to new tasks
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; Human Resources, preferred
- Ability to work on-site during standard business hours as well as participate in events and game day activities
Preferred
- Dayforce or similar HRIS experience
- Onboarding and orientation experience
