What You'll Do at Jamf:


The Manager, Strategic Pricing is responsible for establishing and continuously evolving the strategic pricing competency at Jamf. The pricing playbooks and competency thus established would be leveraged for several purposes such as new product launches, bundled offerings, discounting strategies, price increases, etc.

As a member of the Product Strategy group, this individual will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to align pricing strategy and tactics with Jamf's financial objectives.

The role will be responsible for leading the team that analyzes all available data, including customer and product feedback, and synthesizing them into pricing recommendations for all Jamf products and packages to maximize the desired success metrics.


Responsibilities:
  • Leads and guides the team responsible for detailed data and pricing analysis
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training pricing analysts to be successful in their role
  • Responsible for building a scalable and agile pricing strategy framework at Jamf
  • Builds pricing strategies and playbooks in a reusable fashion to be applied to future projects and initiatives
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of the product solution capabilities and how they apply to the global market
  • Possesses the ability to engage in conversation with Jamf executives and strategy leaders to understand key financial and strategic objectives
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into key pricing strategies and initiatives
  • Ability to structure and prepare complex and diverse data sets for analysis and interpretation
  • Oversees the building and structuring of reports and dashboards for visualizing various elements of pricing such as list prices, discounting, price increases, etc.
  • Effectively leverages statistical and mathematical analysis tools and skills to draw out key observations and patterns
  • Partners with key stakeholders to understand the context behind data, analyses, and patterns
  • Engages with customers and partners as needed to gather additional information that could inform pricing strategies and tactics
  • Seeks out sources of competitive pricing to be integrated into the strategic pricing model and playbooks
  • Clearly communicates the results of analyses to business leaders to get buy in and influence next steps
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Enablement, and other customer facing teams to device the right positioning and communication of pricing
  • Continuously monitor the health of pricing and profitability at Jamf to look for opportunities for improvement
  • Responsible for presenting quarterly pricing reports and digests to the executive leadership team

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience leading pricing and strategy (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working and analyzing large data sets (Required)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to convey complex concepts in an easy to understand fashion
  • Experience operating in a Subscription as a Service company (Preferred)
  • 4 year / Bachelors Degree (Required)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
