ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
- Manage network operations, performance and reliability for existing infrastructure, including wireless and VPN connectivity.
- Design, develop and deploy integrated network architecture to ensure business needs are met.
- Ensure capacity planning for application and performance management of network services.
- Extend and enhance network infrastructure as required by business needs, proactively seeking opportunities to improve services and reduce cost.
- Manage the implementation and integration of network services by working with Administrative staff and vendor support as required.
- Participate in production selection, evaluation and deployment of emerging technologies based on business needs and functional requirements.
- Provide 1st level support on network-based troubleshooting, incidents, emergency services and maintenance windows.
- Maintain network health by monitoring, alerting, reporting and upgrades as necessary.
- Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Coordinate with IT staff on infrastructure projects, managing milestones and deliverables as they pertain to network connectivity, disaster recovery, and quality of service.
- Ensure internet and telecom connectivity through relationships with service providers and managing circuit infrastructure after vendor handoff.
- Maintain cabling infrastructure and documentation, utilizing departmental and vendor resources as necessary.
- Serve as a project leader or team member for significant efforts that involve cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure partner satisfaction for all network services, including audio/visual and wireless connectivity.
- Document network architecture in detail and manage such documentation in document portal as required.
- Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 5 years of network support, design and architecture experience.
- 5 years of network administration, service delivery, quality of service and routing experience.
- Cisco CCNA certification or higher, equivalent experience considered
- Cisco Nexus 7k/5k experience, including environments with multiple virtual device contexts and security requirements.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP and IP addressing methodologies such as unicast, multicast, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of routing and switching technologies with a focus on Cisco products.
- Extensive design and deployment experience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN Trunking, QoS, etc.
- Deep knowledge of firewall architecture, such as Cisco ASA, PIX and proxy services.
- Extensive experience with wireless technologies and standards, such as 802.11 a/b/g/n.
- Proven diagnostic problem solving and solution development skills.
