What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Analyst position at JANUS et Cie?
The Human Resource Analyst will work as part of the Human Resources function by collecting, compiling, reporting, and analyzing HR data, metrics, and statistics. They will apply this data to make recommendations related to company budgets, forecasting, compensation, and employee pay. This position requires an elevated understanding of the human resources and finance processes, excellent analytical and excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Salary: $95k-$100,000K
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the “people costs” analysis monthly and quarterly, including headcount analysis, budget forecasting, and historical review.
- Tracks personnel changes and the financial impact between base and fringe.
- Change ‘bridge” to explanation of change and comment that it is actuals, budgets & forecasts verses prior statuses.
- Creates the “bridge” analysis for people costs – monthly, quarterly, annually.
- Manages all Human Resources data analytics and reporting for the company and as well as requests from parent company reporting.
- Partners with finance leadership on people cost review, as needed.
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to turnover, employee pay, in compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Conducts compensation benchmark assessments and gives recommendations.
- Periodic review of compensation plans, and evaluate and determine appropriate market value for new and existing jobs
- May guide and/or assist with performance, benefit, CSR data and compensation review/evaluation processes.
- Support management of data in ADP and reporting to facilitate better, tuned-in analysis.
- Identifies and recommends reasonable short and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key HR metrics.
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Analysis of other HR ad hoc requests from parent company, Lifestyle Design and Haworth.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient/highly skilled with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup’s.
- Proficient/experience with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS/Payroll (ADP Workforce Now).
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal employment and data privacy laws.
Education and Experience:
- AA or BA in Business Administration, Finance, or Human Resources
- 2-3 years’ experience in Finance, Analytics, Compensation Analysis, or similar role.
