Situated in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley just outside of Eugene/Springfield (Oregon) Jasper Mountain is a children’s 24/7 psychiatric, residential treatment facility committed to helping the most vulnerable and traumatized children in Oregon, and around the country. A one-of-kind nonprofit, Jasper Mountain is often the last hope for children (ages 4-13) who have experienced trauma, have not been successful in out-of-home placements, have been hospitalized for psychiatric reasons, and more. Utilizing a trauma-informed care model that focuses on a holistic treatment approach enhancing the mind, body, and spirit, Jasper Mountain is truly a place of hope and healing for our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assessing symptoms and conditions of the children.
- Administering treatments to injured, disabled, or ill children.
- Educating the children and other staff about the children’s medical conditions and treatments.
- Documenting medical treatments and/or needs of the children.
- Setting up care plans.
- Monitoring children’s health statuses.
- Maintaining inventory and restocking of the med carts.
- Reviewing and maintaining medical records of the children.
- Maintain proper certifications and trainings (provided by agency) in order to provide hold authorization as needed.
- Supervising 1:1 with high needs children.
- Assist with milieu documentation, such as IRs, as needed.
- Provide medical transport as needed.
- Conduct overnight crisis intakes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.
- Minimum of two years experience in nursing.
- Experience with children preferred.
- Highly organized and computer literate.
Compensation
This is a full-time position and starts at $72,342.40 and increases with relevant experience.
