Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced AV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and support of Microsoft Teams Rooms across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms systems
- Strong customer service and experience with executive level support
- Ability to work closely with IT Services team responsible for providing first and second level IT support.
- Ability to train to users on how to use MS Teams Rooms Systems
- Participation in the installation of AV Systems - including audio and video conferencing equipment, digital signage, control systems and all presentation systems.
- Ticket management for incoming or ongoing incidents
- Escalate in accordance with standard procedures.
- Assist with any root cause analysis.
- Ability to support Crestron control systems.
- Ability to support Biamp DSP
- Assist in Asset Management by helping to track materials across AV Systems. Technician will follow all standard procedures for asset tracking, tagging, storage, and e-waste where appropriate.
- Follow all policies, standards, or safety guidelines.
- Perform all necessary pre-event checks as required.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and internal users before and during events.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. [Advanced degrees or certificates in AV technology or related field are a plus.]
- 2-5 years of experience in AV setup and operation.
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with various types of audio-visual equipment and software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
