Seeking a Staff Recruiter with a minimum of 2 years recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to scheduling interviews and collaborating with the Location Managers to hire great employees. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates. Prior experience recruiting for customer service and/or entry level sales roles is very favorable, but not required. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure Jax and Jilly’s attracts, hires and retains the best car wash team members and managers, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy to attract talent
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Collaborate with Area Directors, Director of Sales and Training, and individual locations on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs
- Work with locations to conduct job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/Social Media/colleges etc
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills,experience and aptitudes
- Schedule interviews for office managers
- Collaborate with the HR and Payroll team to onboard new employees
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
- Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process
- Promote company’s reputation
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter. Service / retail industry recruiting experience is highly favorable but not required.
- Solid ability to work with location managers to schedule/conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (remote interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
- Ability to organize skills assessment centers
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- BS/MS in Human Resources Management Preferred

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
