Jaxon is a distinguished leader in Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) hardening and survivability. We evaluate and design EMP systems and facilities and deliver high quality technical services. Jaxon is the only company able to offer turnkey EMP shielding products and services to our Department of Defense and commercial customers.
The successful candidate will also be an effective team player; possess an ability to work in a team of other engineers; be able to interface and communicate effectively with staff, customers, program management and corporate leadership.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret and/or Top Secret security clearance
Salary: $100,000-$150,000, plus bonus eligibility

Primary Duties
Provides technical execution, management and oversight of multiple projects
Acts as Technical Subject Matter Expert for large programs, including direct client interface
Leads HEMP (High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse) test teams in both laboratory and field settings
Generates and presents a variety of technical documents (reports, presentations)
Aids in bidding and proposals
Performs quality reviews of technical documents and deliverables
Trains, mentors and educates staff
Requirements
BS degree in Engineering or a related field and 10 years of related experience; or a MS degree and 8 years related experience
An active Dept. of Defense SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance, preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Willingness to be coached and to learn new skills in a rapidly growing industry
Demonstrated project development and leadership skills for planning and overseeing project tests
Proficiency with all types of time- and frequency- domain test equipment (oscilloscopes, network / spectrum analyzers, instrument control and data acquisition)
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic team environment with both collocated and geographically dispersed team members with varying experience levels.
Strong written and oral communication skills for coordination & reporting work.
Proficient in using Microsoft office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
