We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our service drive. The responsibilities include providing the highest level of customer service, developing lasting customer relationships, and managing the service team members.
To be successful as a Service Manager, you should display a strong sales-minded attitude as well as excellent leadership skills. You should also have the ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers, third-party vendors and the Jay Hatfield Human Resources/Payroll team.

Responsibilities
- Resolve customer requests, questions and concerns in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner
- Serve as liaison between the store and Human Resources, Accounting and Payroll.
- Communicate and hold staff accountable to policy and procedure requirements and updates.
- Provide coaching, resources and training for development to increase all staff’s capabilities and performance
- Ensure all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed
- File warranty claims
- Communicate directly with the GM about employee and customer relations
- Keep customer apprised of work progress
- Suggest add-on sales to increase average transactions
- Determine specialized product needs and services by working directly with customers
- Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
- Keep a professional appearance
Essential Job Skills:
- A minimum of one year of service experience is required
- Previous management experience preferred
- Ability to work daily on a computer and perform administrative duties
- Excellent organization and follow up skills are required
- Excellent customer service ability is a must
- The ability to follow department procedures and policies
- Valid driver's license
- May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
