JOB PURPOSE Responsible to develop financial, market/industry, and researched-based reporting applicable to multiple clients and practices; performs data analytics for assigned client accounts and completes special project deliverables. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluates the client's needs, obtains the necessary data, and creates the programming required to design and present visually appealing deliverables; conducts analyses on the plan's current financial impact and prepares a projection of future plan outcomes. Identifies program needs by conferring with clients to evaluate their situation; solves for the root cause of a program issue, re-evaluates the scope based on any related problems that present themselves. Accesses the data of existing clients to conduct a financial analysis of relevant information to aid in the evaluation of plan performance, both current and projected experience. Defines how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed as well as any applications using or processing that data. Manages large projects from inception and design through implementation and assessment; works closely to build relationships with internal clients. Designs reports with the goal of scalable implementation across multiple clients and practices. Evaluates regulatory changes and identifies the impact to existing tools, reports and databases; makes recommendations for changes and ensures implementation of proper upgrades. Establishes strong peer review strategies and coaches others on best practices. Collaborates with the Sales / Business Development Team and various Practice Leaders to formulate strategy in the development of new analytical tools for market introduction. Accesses the data of prospective clients to conduct a financial and demographic, current-state analysis to promote client awareness with the objective of securing new business. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS The specific personal traits required to accomplish the essential duties of this job successfully include: Strong attention to detail particularly with mathematical information Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize accordingly Ability to focus on work-at-hand; not easily distracted Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated decision making, analytical and problem solving skills Resourceful and works well independently or on a team Manages stress well Self-confident with capable interpersonal skills Strong client-facing and presentation abilities EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Bachelor degree in Risk Management, Computer Info. Systems or Statistics from a four-year college or university and five to ten years or more of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Experience Specifically Required Proven experience with requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and the deployment of BI Solutions (End-to-End), over multiple technologies, size and scale of projects Prior experience in a group benefits environment gathering, manipulating and deciphering data Advanced utilization of MS Excel including VLOOKUP, IF statements, graphs, customized tools, VBA, data validation, and proper utilization of named ranges of cells Software documentation, testing, maintenance and development process Who is Oswald?
