POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for receiving and providing supplies to production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Issuing packaging and ingredient supplies to meet production requirements.
Following FIFO procedure, rotates stock based on inventory turnover.
Verifying BOM to be accurate
Assist in reviewing department SOP’s.
Assures inventory accuracy by submitting daily scale adjustment reports and or cycle counts.
End of month cycle counts for ingredients and packaging Create Requisitions for daily/weekly ingredient and packaging orders Organizes and maintains the warehouse in a clean and sanitary manner.
Reports any problems or concerns to Supervisor or Lead Person immediately.
Keep area clean by performing daily general sanitation.
Backup all shifts in the production Supply department, is required.
Gather documentation for audits and mock recalls on packaging and ingredients To perform this job successfully, applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS. and ABILITIES
Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.
Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentage calculations.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work in a cold environment.
Ability to learn new procedures, i.e. bar code scanner, equipment, stacking grids.
Familiarity with computer system
