What are the responsibilities and job description for the OLP Service Provider position at JCCA?
Job Summary: Provide clinical services intended to assess and address the behavioral health and developmental needs of children and adolescents. Clinical services will be particularly focused on the developmental functioning and healthy relationships for children and families for whom flexible community-based treatment is needed. Services are delivered in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Licensed Evaluation (Assessment)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluation of a child/ youth’s individual and psychosocial strengths and service needs, through observation and data collections.
- Utilize existing Admission Reports, Plan of Care, Psychosocial and/or other supporting documentation to assess youth’s functioning and needs.
- Determine the identification of services and practices medically necessary to meet the child/youth’s behavioral health needs, which may include a variety of identified services.
- Complete the assessment timely in accordance with the paperwork policy and submit to direct supervisor.
Treatment Planning
- Create and complete treatment plans describing the child/youth’s condition and services needed for the current episode of care, detailing the scope/practices to be provided, expected outcome, and expected frequency and duration of the treatment for each provider.
- Complete all treatment plans timely and in accordance with the paperwork policy and submit to direct supervisor.
Psychotherapy (Counseling)
- Provide therapeutic intervention with child/ youth and /or with client’s family members, according to the needs and goals identified in the client’s treatment plan.
- Provide crisis intervention activities either by telephone or in person, as well as crisis complex care and/or follow-up with necessary parties.
- Attend supervision by Administrative team, including regular supervision by a LCSW
- Maintain contact with collaborating Care Coordinators, Intake Administrative Assistant, and all parties associated with the child/ youth’s services
- Complete progress notes and contact logs as needed within 48 hours in the Electronic Health Record
Previous Experience Required:
- Qualifications: Required - Licensed Psychoanalysts, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Creative Art Therapists, or Licensed Masters Social Workers when under the supervision of licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), licensed psychologists, or psychiatrists
- Bilingual/Spanish preferred
- Solid organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a variety of different people
- Excellent writing skills.
Required License and Certification:
- Active Licenses for above degrees
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer).
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to frequently communicate with members/employees who have inquiries about services that you are providing. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Ability to travel to multiple work sites via public transportation
- Repetitive movement of hands and fingers (typing and/or writing)
- Ability to stand or walk long distances
- Work in extreme heat or cold conditions
- Flexibility to work evenings/nights/and-or weekend
Hourly Rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
