Job Description
JCPenney is seeking a Cosmetologist to join our team in Flint, MI. We are looking for a creative, outgoing, and detail oriented individual who is passionate about the beauty industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and clients
- Perform hair extensions and scalp treatments
- Perform facial application and services
- Manage client requests and provide excellent customer service
- Manage client accounts by following up with them as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of salon and treatment areas
- Manage inventory by keeping client supplies in stock and contacting them about new products
- Manage scheduling, processing, and billing of clients by providing excellent customer service
- Maintain professional appearance at all times through proper use of products, equipment, and techniques
- Operate all equipment in a safe manner to ensure safety of customers, clients, and colleagues
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: - Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) - A or B (Preferred) - Strong work ethic (Preferred) - Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) (Preferred) - Professional attitude & appearance (Required) - Ability to work independently (Required) - Flexibility in schedule (Required) - Reliable transportation (Required) - Must be able to work weekends and holidays (Preferred) - Ability to multitask (Preferred) - Must be able to work independently on projects when needed.
