We are looking for a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to handle fast-paced, complex design/build projects in the wastewater and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will apply advanced engineering techniques, solve engineering problems, and represent our organization in negotiations with key engineers and officials.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Design: Prepare calculations for building loads, design multi-story steel structures, concrete walls, foundations, and slabs for various applications.
- Project Management: Execute large-scope projects, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordination: Work with architects, HVAC engineers, plumbing engineers, electrical engineers, and process engineers to integrate structural systems.
- Technical Support: Provide support during construction, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and offer guidance to junior engineers.
- Client Interaction: Define project requirements, deliver solutions, and maintain client relationships.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering.
- Experience: 9 years in structural design, preferably with industrial or retrofit projects.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in RISA, STAAD.Pro, Tekla Tedds, and Revit is preferred; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Compensation
- Salary: $120k-$160k annually, based on experience.
