What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail SMA Operations Manager position at JCW?

JCW is partnering with a global asset management firm who is looking to bring on a new member to their Operations team. This role will be heavily involved with the rollout of the firms new Retail SMA function.


Job Responsibilities

  • Leading and implementing onboarding of sponsor platforms with BlackRock Aladdin.
  • Partnering with multiple business lines including Trading Desks, Compliance, Client Services and Portfolio Management to develop and expand the Retail SMA business
  • Develop and manage a small team to support outsourced operational functions for the firm.


Job Requirements

  • Prior team management experience is a must.
  • Experience with relevant systems including Archer and BlackRock Aladdin is required.
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income Securities, and retail mutual funds.
