JCW has partnered with a with a Data Science company that is solving complex problems by leveraging AI and ML. They are expanding rapidly after a merger with a large market-leading technology company. They are looking to add a Business Development "Hunter" to their fast growing team!
As a key member of our North American Sales team, you will identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities. This role is perfect for a proactive, results-driven individual with a solid understanding of data science and analytics solutions and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Target potential clients in North America through cold calling, networking events, social media, and industry conferences.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute strategies to exceed revenue targets. Tailor sales approaches based on market trends and customer needs.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, CXOs, and stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding and addressing their business challenges.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track progress, and provide updates to senior management using CRM tools (Hubspot).
- Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations. Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including marketing, delivery, and data science experts, to meet client requirements and leverage expertise in sales pitches.
- Market Feedback: Inform marketing teams about client needs, industry trends, and competitive activity to shape future service offerings and strategies.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of sales cycle experience selling B2B clients
- Hunting stints selling technology-enabled services, Analytics, etc.
- The skill to spot prospective clients.
- Create GTM plans for North America
- Closed deals in hunting new deals >500K USD.
