What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detailers position at JD Block & Associates, LLC?
A well-established and growing truck/industrial equipment body/painting shop in Saginaw, Michigan is seeking a detailing technician to power wash/sandblast/degrease heavy duty trucks and equipment, clean interiors, perform light mechanical duties, along with assembly and disassembly. Prior power washing, degreasing, sandblasting and detailing experience is a definite plus. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively at varying heights and in hard to reach areas on large vehicles and trailers, climb ladders/scaffolding, stand for long periods of time, lift at least 50 pounds, possess a currently valid Michigan driver’s license and own basic mechanic’s tools. Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour to start, depending on experience, full time with overtime opportunities, with excellent health insurance, 401k, life insurance, short term disability and paid vacation.
