Role Description
JDI Industrial Services is now seeking an Electrical Project Manager responsible for managing multiple projects at various stages and overseeing projects from pre-construction to closeout. Successful applicants will manage the bid process, analyze blueprints/specifications, review proposals/project requirements, secure required permits, coordinate material procurement, maintain documentation records, manage completion of the work and, if necessary, assist in its completion. This role is located in Westminster, SC.
Qualifications
- Have thorough knowledge of industrial electricity (technology, equipment, methods, etc.) as well as an understanding of Company and industry practices, electrical code requirements, processes, standards and their impact on project activities.
- Experience managing electrical projects with budgets up to 1 million
- Must possess the ability to think critically and problem solve
- Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Word, Excel, Outlook, Project
- Strong business ethics with regards to budgets, invoicing and payments
- Familiarity with construction project management software (ProCore, Sage 300, Viewpoint, etc.)
- Reading understanding contract documents and P&ID drawings
- Knowledge and a background with project Estimating, Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting
- 5 years’ extensive experience with knowledge of construction, design, and cost management as an Electrical Project Manager or similar position in a Commercial and/or Industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science & management, Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
